What's this?

Who is "they"?


One of the talking heads said something to that effect - something like "I guess we now know that Virginia Tech had to win the ACC".

But did the committee actually say that?

AFAIK, it was one person's conjecture, no more nor less valid than the conjecture that the committee may have simply not reseeded us after the Duke win.
